  If we don’t hear from you within 24 hours, we will send an invoice choosing the payment and shipping options which we think are the most comfortable ones to you. Bavaria - etched cavalry M89 sword with portepee

Description

Bavarian cavalry sword M89 for a member of the 3. Chevaulegers-Regiment "Herzog Karl Theodor“.

The sword comes with a nice etched blade to three sides. Fine etched ornaments with the inscription "Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit". The other side shows the unit of the soldier "3.Chev.Reg. Herzog Karl Theodor". No maker's mark. Slight stains.

Black celluloid grip without chipping. Nickel-plated hilt fittings. Folding crossguard showing the Bavarian coat of arms (lion). Original portepee ("Faustriemen").

Original black painted steel scabbard. One suspension ring (established 1910). No dents.

Length: 95 cm.

Signs of wear. Good condition.
