Description

Four excellent photo albums of a pilot serving with Feldflieger-Abteilung 21 during WWI.

The albums come with very nice photos of the aircraft and the members of the officer corps such as Hauptmann Franz Geerdtz, Deodat Graf von Oriola, Herzog von Oldenburg as well as other officers. Shots of Kaiser Wilhelm II, Herzog Ernst August von Braunschweig and General der Infanterie Otto von Emmich (Pour le Mèrite). Also nice to see are the awards of the pilots and observers. Furthermore, nice aerial photos and a beautiful portrait of the pilot. He is wearing his awards, including the Imperial German Pilot's Badge. His handwritten notes inside contain a lot of helpful information. Total: 295 -matching- photos.
