The album comes with a total of 232 photos. It shows the campaigns in France (Dunkirk), Poland, Ukraine, and Italy. Numerous photos were taken at the front. Very rare are the photos from his captivity of war. He became a prisoner of war on 4. June 1944 in Rome. Until April 1945 he was in the POW Camp near Naples and then in the Egypt Camp. Among them are photos taken in Iraq. His handwritten notes make it all very easy to follow.
