Description

VIEW DESCRIPTION

A late war Wehrmacht bayonet 84/98. Made around 1944/1945. The bayonet comes with the original finish (bluning). No maker's mark or acceptance marks. Which was certainly the case with a piece produced so late. The weld seam on the edge of the scabbard also shows the late war production.

Described in the reference book "Das Seitengewehr 84/89 bei der Reichswehr und Wehrmacht von 1920 bis 1945" by S. Thiem on pages 361 and 380.
