A British-made denim (drill) jacket used by an officer of the Uboats, as captured during the evacuation of British troops in Dunkirk. All the original buttons have been replaced with gilt Kriegsmarine ones, and a narrow shoulder board has been added for the rank "Fähnrich zur See".

There is some damage to the arms and the back of the jacket. On the inside, there are also some stamps. The original waist buckle has been replaced with a German aluminium one.

As part of the lot, there are also photos aboard U.101 in St. Nazaire in 1941, as well as a post-war postcard of an Austrian alpine village
