Waffen-SS breast-badge as worn to indicate former membership within the German police (ie. 'Brustabzeichen für ehem. Polzeiangehörigen').
The badge is neatly hand-embroidered in silver-coloured braid on a black-coloured wool and was simply never issued nor used: it still has to be cut into shape.
The piece shows some minimal corrosion-marks but comes in an overall nicely-preserved condition.
