Heer sniper's smock
Description
Wehrmacht Heer reversible sniper-smock aka Anorak (ie. 'Tarnhemd für Scharfschützen') as executed in water-pattern camouflage-print ('Sumpftarnmuster').
The piece - which retains bright and vivid colours - comes fully complete with its hood ('Kapuze') and is of the model without integrated mosquito-net. The piece is totally void of any marking or stamp (which is not unusual). The period closing-cord is regrettably missing but the cord to tighten the piece in the waist is present and in place.
The smock - which is of a fair size and that has an approximate waist-size of 150 cms. - shows only minimal age, wear and staining and comes in a wonderful condition, overall.
