Grouping to Oberleutnant Dr. Willi Rüger awarded the Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class as well as the East Medal, the Kuban Shield, the War Merit Cross 2nd Class, the Rumanian Order of the Crown with swords 5th Class and the Wound Badge.
Rüger served with with Kraftfahr-Kompanie 444, Art.Rgt.257 and other units. He served from 1935 until 1945.

Dr. Rüger was a NSDAP member. There is his membership booklet with original attached photograph.

A unique hand-made booklet on "Willi" presented by his comrades! His unit emblem showed a picture of a cat.
This picture is also engraved in his personal aluminum ring and carved into a period time candle holder made from wood.
The candle holder comes with a dedication of a comrade named "Schubert" to the bottom. It is "Maikop, 24.12.42" (Russia) dated and was presented to his birthday as it says.
