Important grouping to Fallschirmjäger Obergefreiter Robert Sparr serving with 3./Fallschirmjäger-Regiment 1. The 3rd Kompanie attacked the Sola airport in Norway. It was the first airborne attack during the Norwegian Campaign and the very first combat airborne operation in the history of warfare. Sparr was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class for bravery during this attack and was one of 10 soldiers being wounded during this attack.

Certificate to the "Fallschirmschützen" badge. DIN A4 size. 20.1.1940 issued. Original ink signature. Not folded but quite a few small rips towards the top and the right side.
Certificate to the Iron Cross 2nd Class. 18.4.1940 dated. Signed by a Generalleutnant.
Certificates to the Wound Badge in black and Wound Badge in silver. 1940 and 1943 issued. The one to the Wound Badge in black was issued in Stendal and was signed (ink) by Bruno Brauer. Brauer is famous for the Sola (airport) attack in Norway.
