Heer Wehrpass. Issued on 31.01.1939. Original applied photo. His units are listed on page 12. Awards: Infantry Assault Badge in Silver, 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class, and East Medal. Campaigns from 23.02.1940 to 12.09.1943. Involved in the Battle of Crete "Sicherung von Kreta". Noted on page 33. Killed in action on 12.09.1943 near Wianos, Crete. Includes a photo of his grave.
