Description

Wehrpass and Soldbuch to Leutnant der Reserve Harald Reber serving with Gebirgsjäger-Brigade 139 "Generaloberst Dietl".

Heer Wehrpass issued on 31.05.1940. Original attached photo. His units are listed on page 12. Awards: East Medal, Wound Badge in Black, Infantry Assault Badge in Silver, 1939 Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class, and Lappland Shield on 15.7.1945. The Iron Crosses were issued by the SS-Gebirgs-Division "Nord“. Noted on page 38. Campaign list from 4.8.1941 until 8.5.1945. Listed on page 32.

Heer Soldbuch issued on 22.03.1944. The photo has been removed. Awards: the same as in the Wehrpass. Noted on page 22. Furthermore, seven credited close combat days from 15.9.41 until 1944. Listed on page 14a. 

A photo negative. You can see in the photo, that he wears the Lappland Shield. 

In addition, three postwar documents. Among them a handwritten note by the veteran stating: "The German Cross in Gold and the Close Combat Clasp in Silver was taken away from him during his captivity in the war".
