VIEW DESCRIPTION

A 2nd place victor oak leaf head wreath with two ribbons attached for a track meet in the town of Hohenstein-Ernstthal in 1938. Made from faux oak leafs. Maker’s paper tag still attached. A filigree but meaningful statement of the Nazis using Oak leafs in concession to the Greeks to honor victorious moments in sport.
