Impressive veterans standard of the Kriegerverein Sichertshausen (Hesse).

Typical double-sided construction from white and blue silk. Golden aluminium wire fringes to three sides. Seven attached metal rings and one clipper to the top. One metal ring is missing. Furthermore four cloth loops (tress) on the side, however, all broken.

The standard comes with a beautiful hand-stitched picture to the front. It shows a brown eagle which sits on a rock. Below a steel helmet as well as a Germanic shield. The shield is crossed by two swords and the center shows an 1914 Iron Cross. Fine red lettering "Deutschlands, Ehr, Ruhm und Taten halten hoch wir Kameraden". Decorated with maple branches. "Arnold Thüringer Fahnenfabrik, Coburg" maker marked. Six holes and stains.

The backside comes with a nice hand-stitched golden-yellow lettering "Kriegerverein Sichertshausen 1924-1928". Decorated with maple branches. No holes.
