Description
Grouping to Wehrmacht Unteroffizier Georg Ballwieser serving with Infanterie-Regimen 480 awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class, Wound Badge in silver, and Infantry Assault Badge in silver. He has lost all fings of his right hand and was discharged from service in October 1942.

Wehrpaß with original attached photograph and many entries. All awards are noted. A list of all campaigns he was part of from 1939 until 1942.
The Wehrpaß comes with the original cover.

His medals are part of the grouping and from nice quality. His Iron Cross 2nd Class (unmarked) comes in mint condition, the Wound Badge (unmarked) is a high quality tombak example, the Infantry Assault Badge in silver is a nice variant with mismanufacturing detail to the reverse.

All documents complete. The one to the Infantry Assault Badge signed by Parzeval is however damaged. The Iron Cross citation is signed by Knight's Cross receipient General von Mauritz. Part of the grouping is also his discharge document "Entlassungsschein".

56 original photographs in a family enveloped saying "Opa Bilder" (grandfather's photos).

Finally, a postwar chronicle of his division: 260 Infanterie Division.
