Grouping to Herbert Aigner serving with 8./Panzerartillerie-Regiment "Hermann Göring" in Italy. He lost both legs during an American bomb raid and died later on the same day on 3.1.1944 near Piedimonte, West of Cassino.
The grouping includes a few nice photographes. Three show him in Luftwaffe uniform with white collar tabs which was only worn by Hermann Göring troops.
Wehrpaß with original attached photo. Note about his campain in the Netherlands and Italy. Killed in action note. Unit note and others.
Very nice condition.
It was shipped home with his personal things to the family. There are additional notes on his death such as a personal letter of his commander explaining the circumstances. Documents and certificates on his death issued by the NSDAP.
