Very rare grouping of NSDAP member Alfred Reichardt, Bayreuth, who ordered a VW KdF-Wagen in 1940. Part of the grouping is a scarce "Kraft durch Freude" document dating back to 30.7.40. It confirms that Reichardt will receive the 3494. KdF-Wagen produced. To our information, the production number was only forwarded when the payment was received in full. According to the fact that no private KdF card was ever delivered, Reichardt must be one of the very few who paid in full before they stopped the production at the beginning of WW2.
Alfred Reichard was long time serving member of NSDAP Gauverwaltung Bayreuth (DAF). There are several documents part of the grouping. One confirms he was given a free ticket for the KdF joinery "Rund um Italien" in December 1938.
