A rare document grouping to Quirin Duval. Because of his anti-fascist stance, he was arrested by the Gestapo on 24.4.1938. For this reason, he was sent to the concentration camp in Dachau on 16.7.1938. Duval was also imprisoned in the concentration camps Buchenwald and Natzweiler until 24.10.1942. There are some documents in the grouping related to his imprisonment. Among them is a rare list of personal belongings that were confiscated by the Gestapo and his financial loss. From 22.09.1943 until the end of the Second World War, he served with the XVIII/12. Grenzwacht-Kompanie.
