A privately purchased Waffen-SS visor cap. EM/NCO pattern.
Piping: "Goldgelb" color cloth piping to the top and bottom of the cap band as well going around the top
Cap band: Black cloth (correct for EM/NCO)
Chin strap: EM/NCO strap. SS pattern. Both black buttons in place and period time attached with prongs
Insignia: Cap eagle and skull from zinc. All prongs in place. Matching patina.
Lining: Orange color lining. Silk. Some damage. Intact celluloid diamond. Maker marked.
Sweat-band: Signs of wear and age. Still flexible.
