Grouping to Gefreiter Georg Daron serving with Artillerie-Regiment 191 (91.Infanterie-Division) during the D-day battles in Normandy (Cherbourg), France. He was awarded the Wound Badge in black by Kdr./9.SS-Panzer-Division "Hohenstaufen" as it says in the Wehrpaß. The Wehrpaß as well as some of the additional documents list the Normandy battles, the Arnheim campaign and the batles around Aachen!
