Rare Close Combat Clasp grouping to Obergefreiten Theodor Fritz serving with 13./Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 99 serving as a sniper (Scharfschütze)!

Certificate to 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class. Issued on 29.10.1941. Signed by Generalmajor Hubert Lanz (Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves winner). Please note the "Begründung" report for the award of the Iron Cross to the reverse.

It say that he killed several enemies on 6.10.1942 near Petershagen. Furthermore, during an attack on the Balak Belosjorka on 29.9.1941, Fritz has killed the entire crew of a "Protzenfahrzeug" (gun carrier). In France, he saved a wounded comrade's life. He also proved himself several times in Russia and Yugoslavia.
