Heer M42 combat helmet. The helmet looks to be absolutely untouched. It once had an eagle decal which was however most probably period time remvoed.
The outer factory paint is still about 90%. The liner is well worn as the rest of the helmet is. The cord is original. Size 58. Marked chin strap. Soft.
The stamp to the reverse of the shell looks to be "ckl66". The two front prongs of the rivets are "W39" stamped. You can see this marking when carefully bending the lining. The liner looks to be original to the shell.
A very nice helmet with patina.
