Exciting document grouping to the pilot Feldwebel Karl Mohrmann serving on Kreuzer "Admiral Hipper". He was the actual ship's pilot!
Mohrmann died on 14.7.1943 when his aircraft hit the ground straight after starting Billefjord. Please see last picture for a copy of the war diary of his unit mentioning his death.
Certificate to the Iron Cross 2nd Class. "Befehlshaber der Kreuzer" stamped. Ink signed by Befehlshaber der Kreuzer Vizeadmiral Kummetz. Issued to Mohrmann "An Bord" on 14.9.1940 as "Feldwebel der Luftwaffe" serving with "Kommando Kreuzer Admiral Hipper". A very very rare document.
